As part of the construction of the Laval Aquatic Complex, SCV Enercor took part in the design of all electromechanical systems, in collaboration with Pomerleau Construction and Ponton-Guillot Engineering. From the project’s preliminary phases through to the final construction documents, our specialized teams were mobilized to implement cutting-edge, innovative systems.

The work included the installation of numerous electrical and auxiliary systems, such as:

• Structured cabling
• Access control and security systems
• Sound system
• Fire alarm system
• Installation of a standalone generator
• A CAM-LOCK connection cabinet allowing for full backup power supply to the building if required

Our mandate also covered all plumbing, heating, and cooling work, including the installation of cooling towers. Hot water production (boilers and water heaters) is powered by both natural gas and electricity.

SCV Enercor also handled complex ventilation work, which included dehumidification of all pool enclosures, evacuation of trichloramine, air distribution using innovative synthetic ductwork, acoustic soundproofing, and the deployment of heat pumps connected to tempered water networks, ensuring air conditioning for spaces adjacent to the Olympic-grade recreational and competition pools. The project benefited enhanced LEED commissioning and certification.
